It started with one bar of soap.

A former nurse who turned a single bar of CBD-infused soap into a family of businesses and a nonprofit that bring care, opportunity and equity to the communities that need them most.

My story

Care first. Then business.

Before I was a CEO, I was a nurse. In 2016 I stepped into the cannabis industry with a single bar of CBD-infused soap, bringing my healthcare background together with a growing belief in plant-based wellness.

That soap grew into FourTwenty LLC. In Arizona, I became the first Black woman to own and operate a dispensary. From there I opened a dispensary in Las Cruces, New Mexico, home to Lit Cafe, my cannabis consumption lounge, with retail and manufacturing licenses for THC-infused edibles and CBD gummies. Back home in Arizona, Goddess Boutique, my CBD store in Glendale, carries my handmade skincare and my fashion line.

Today my work reaches far beyond cannabis, from recovery homes to mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs. My mission is to expand access to care and opportunity in underserved areas.

Resilience and purpose, in business and beyond.

Community

Recovery, education and access.

As founder and CEO of Start Living Inc., an Arizona-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, I provide group homes and medical clinics for people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. Sober living is possible, and everyone deserves a safe place to begin again.

Through my businesses and nonprofit work, I educate communities about medical cannabis as an alternative to opioids, and I advocate for equity, education and leadership in cannabis and beyond.
